BREAKING: After 0-6 Start, Cavs Fire Ty Lue

According to media reports, the four-time defending Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers have fired head coach, Tyrone Lue.

Lue, who replaced David Blatt in the middle of the 2016 Cavs title season, helped lead Cleveland to its first ever NBA championship in franchise history.

In his three years as head coach for the Cavaliers, Lue complied a 128-77 mark in the regular season and a 41-20 record in the playoffs with his 2016 NBA Finals title.

The former two-time NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers as a player was an assistant with the Boston Celtics from 2011-13, Los Angeles Clippers from 2013-14 and an associate head coach for the Cavaliers Under Blatt from 2014-16.

Larry Drew will assume the role of interim head coach for the Cavaliers.
